Beginning of Adventures!

Hello! I am sitting at the Boston Logan International Airport on my (long) way to London Heathrow.

Although I'm just leaving the states I left CA last friday on a red eye...apparently red eyes are my thing b.c here comes another one! I got to Boston Saturday morning and was picked up by Tom and then after a brief tour of Boston, driving by BU, along the river and the stopping at Harvard to see Harvard square and part of the campus, we drove to Harvard MA (ironically not by Harvard University) to pick TJ up from Friendly Crossing Hostel after his captains pre-pre season practice.  My little Mass adventure continued as we drove out to the Cape to pick up Tjs "storage" and meet some family.  We even snuck in a little beach time where the water was nice and warm and the beach was full of fun shells to collect.  From there we got back in the car and headed towards Duxbury Bay where we were to stay with Tom's sister and her family. After a delicious dinner of east coast crab cakes :] at a restaurant right on the water I was ready for sleep.  The next day we lucked out with perfect boating weather and went out on the Sarah Kelley III for a boat ride around the bay.  We also got in some tubing time which was quite fun!  Lucky us arriving exactly when we did as the weekend before it had rained and now there is rain forecasted for this upcoming weekend as well!

The next day we got back in the car and made the treck out to Amherst where we moved TJ into his new room for this quarter.  A short stay at Amherst this time as the next day (today) I had more traveling, this time back to boston.  Tj made my trip a little shorter by driving me to the next big town over where I was able to get an "express" peterpan bus to boston.  Once to South Station I had to go get the MBTA bus to take me to the airport.

From here I fly Air Canada to Ottawa where I have a 3 hr layover and then finally I have a flight out from there at 10 at night getting me to London at 10:30 am!

Once I get there just a little more commuting, taking a connector train to the tube, then a short tube ride down town, then a 3 block walk to the little bed and breakfast/ hostel Erin and I are spending our first night at right by Buckingham Palace!!! So then I will finally meet my travel companion Erin and drop off stuff and then take over London!

Thats it for today hopefully I can update tomorrow night about our whirlwind tour of London before we fly to Edinburgh!
